Coding question:
I’m using .htaccess for url Rewrite, it’s apache or server side thing.
So, I’ve more than a hundred posts, they are all in the same folder. What if I group them into a folder by year like 2022, 2023 for easier management.

The question is the folder structure and the file path will change. If I make them /blog/2022/post.php but I want the original url blog/post-title unchanged, it is going to work if I update the url in .htaccess right?

As a #web developer, I die a little each time I see friends repeatedly post screenshots to Discord of article titles and headers, rather than copying and pasting the article #url, even after being asked nicely to do so. I've watched dumbfounded as one uploaded the latest xkcd image, then typing out the hover text for another friend, when the same or less effort would have been to copy and paste the #link and then long press the image on the site. Why is it so hard to credit #creators?

You know how, on Facebook, if you visit a URL from Facebook then copy that URL to share it there is a long string of gobbledygook at the end of the URL? It's the part after the ? mark in the URL and it is telling whoever that this URL came from Facebook. And, it's not only Facebook, lots of sites do this. They attach their site reference to any linked URL with the "rel=" tag.

Guess what? Mastodon does not appear to do that. Anyway, the instance I'm on doesn't.
