Iran not only signed the NPT, but they don’t have any nuclear weapons (and US intelligence admits this).
Iran has also tried for decades to establish a nuclear-weapons-free-zone in the Middle East, which would instantly put an end to all the fear-mongering over “Iran’s nuclear program.”

The U.S. and Israel refuse.
Setting the most obvious solution aside, there have also been other proposals.

In 2010 Iran, Brazil, and Turkey reached an agreement for Iran to ship low-enriched uranium to Turkey and Brazil to send Iran isotopes for medical reactors.

Obama tanked the negotiations.
Two years later, the NPT set up...'
