But based on the 2 men’s past relationships, it seems to me that #USSoccer hired Matt Crocker in order to convince Jesse Marsch to become #usmnt coach. While Jesse has made more progress in Europe than any other fully American coach, it just seems like his footballing style is better for a club team rather than players you only see a few times a year. #soccer

Berhalter isn't the guy. US Soccer's slavish devotion to the 433 does not fit what we have. This isn't club, we can't make moves to fit our system. We have to play to our strength and the 433 does not produce the best US outcome. There's no question in my mind it's wrong.

I would fire Berhalter for the Reyna thing alone. You burned that kid after he ate that shit. He did wrong, he fixed it and didn't cry. And you torched him. Hell no. Berhalter gotta go.

Aaronson is the closest thing I've ever seen to Thomas Muller and that's weird because I've never seen anyone like Muller. He's a chaos monkey who beats teams because he isn't where he's supposed to be, he doesn't do what he's supposed to do, and the modern game can't adapt to an out of control weirdo who's movement feels completely random.

I don't know what to say about Reyna. I will say that Dortmund are all in on his talent and I don't know this game better than they do. He is a pure CAM in the old style, the style that has been killed by modern soccer. A pure no defense #10 is considered a luxury that no one can afford. Yet Dortmund still find a way to get him on the field.
