Another weekend thought following this weeks #layoffs - Will this lead to an increase in union membership?

I’m a member of #UTAW and therefore #CWU. I haven’t had reason to call on their services thankfully, but it’s somewhat useful to know that they’re there if needed.

Also, you get some pretty good discounts! The discount on my gym membership covers my union fees.

I'm a member of the UTAW (United Tech and Allied Workers) - part of the Communication Workers Union.
I hope I never need to ask them for anything but £2 a month to support their work and know they are there if I ever need them is very cheap.
