Tuntuu siltä, että #rolling-distroihin käynyt virta on tyystin tappanut perinteiset vakaat jakelut. Enää #Debian ja #UbuntuLTS ovat jäljellä, ja jälkimmäisessä on niin paljon inhottavaa (#Snap, outo #umask) josta eroonpääsy on tuskallista, ettei millään hotsittaisi.

The only thing that would make #CentosStream a perfect idea, IMO, is a clean switch path from Fedora 34 to #Centos Stream 9. See https://fosstodon.org/@lig/105544740049852477

And even better a way to switch back to #Fedora and continue upgrading 2 times a year.

This will make it to be #FedoraLTS for real. It's a very convenient thing with #Ubuntu. If you are happy with your current system and it is #UbuntuLTS, you can choose to stay on #LTS for a while until there is a feature you like in any new non-LTS release.
