Comecei a usar o Zorin OS há pouco tempo e estou achando muito melhor que o Ubuntu Linux. E olha que o Zorin é baseado no Ubuntu que é baseado no Debian.

Har bökat lite med grafikdrivrutiner för grafikkortet i min #UbuntuLinux-laptop. Och det funkar! Nu används AMDgpu-drivrutinen i stället för den äldre radeon-drivrutinen :)

Inte en stor ändring men nu slipper jag ett småstörigt felmeddelande. Och det är nog första gången jag varit så nära kerneln, så man har nog lärt sig en del. Om inte annat att #archwiki:n är en väldigt bra resurs!

@Linux_Is_Best I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 and have been using many versions since I began in 2006 using 6.10.
I'm a retired IBM computer tech & engineer in circuit packaging.
I walked away from Windows XP and only have copies of Windows Vista and Windows 10 because I needed to learn them to fix my customers' computers.
Not one of them could be convinced to move to Linux, any flavor.
My question is: does Debian 11 or 12 come with Ubuntu 22.04 and after..or even 20.04 desktop?

so the @elementary Mail app crashes on reading unread emails, and a lot of people are making new github issues for it (as the Feedback thingy gets you to do)

and i'm torn between helpfully commenting "this is a duplicate of __", and just letting the duplicates pile up until the devs address the issue, because honestly it is a really big problem!!! how do you launch a whole-ass OS with a non-working mail app!!

i like the OS—i'm using it!—but it is just so desperately Not Ready For Prime Time.
