Because I have family connections to #Ukraine. I know #Ukrainians. What is happening to them is evil. When people blame them or the US or NATO for Russia’s invasion and attempted genocide of Ukraine and her people it makes me deeply angry and upset. I struggle to understand how people I agree with on so many things can be so insanely wrong about this war. And so I argue with people who are wrong in the internet.

Since the start of #Russia genocidal war against #Ukraine I have been thinking why is it that #Israel has been so weak in it's support of #Ukraine. How could it support #RussiaIsATerroristState. There have been various arguments put forth about Iran, Syria and a boat load of other bullshit. But I think that the fundamental reason is this: One of the main reasons the international community has united and rallied around #Ukraine is the clear violation of international law in the use of military and other coercive means to take and occupy territory that is the sovereign domain of another country. I think that #Israel, especially under its right wing, religiously fanatical government fundamentally disagree with this rules based international order. They want to be able to continue their annexation and occupation of #Palestine. It seems to mean that the view of #Israel toward #Palestinians is exactly the same as #Russia to #Ukrainians. #SlavaUkrainii !

Honestly, I am glad that the #Ukrainians have started hitting #Russian skyscrapers with drones. They need a taste of there own medicine and to know just a taste of what they have done and the damage they caused over the past year.
