Ukrainian Energy Minister German #Galushenko said that after new wave of Russian attacks, there were emergency shutdowns of power grid in "most regions" of #Ukraine. The attacks hit #Kharkiv, #Lviv, #IvanoFrankivsk, #Zaporizhia, #Vinnytsia and #Kyiv regions, Galushenko wrote.
State-owned electricity utility #Ukrenergo said situation was "complicated" in Kharkiv and Lviv regions in particular. The attacks would have partially paralyzed power supply there.

Due to today's #Russian shelling, more than 50% of the consumption of the combined energy system was lost.

The #Turkish company #Karpowership will send ships of #powerplants to #Ukraine, - #NikkeiAsia.

"We are discussing with the management of #Ukrenergo the placement of three ship power plants with a total capacity of 300 megawatts near #Odesa. They can provide electricity to up to 1 million subscribers."

As a result of massive missile strikes by #Russians in #Ukraine, all large thermal power plants and #hydroelectric power stations were damaged, said #VladimirKudrytsky, head of #Ukrenergo.
