Meine Suche nach einer Alternative/Ergänzung zu @yunohost war eher ernüchternd.

Es gibt zwar reichlich Projekte, die aber alle an weit fundamentaleren Kinderkrankheiten leiden, als #Yunohost.

@sandstorm, #casaos, #umbrel, #homelab, ... alle ganz hübsch auf ihre Weise - aber doch keine echten Alternativen für mich.

I’m also curious if anyone has looked at using #DRBD with #Umbrel in general (not just for #lightning).

Habe es geschafft eine #bitcoin #fullnode via #umbrel auf meinem #synology #nas laufen zu lassen. Die Lösung für einen halbwegs geräuschlosen Betrieb war, eine #debian #vm auf einer eigentlich als Cache gedachten #nvme SSD laufen zu lassen.

@matz Guarda, il selfhosting è una figata ma gli devi stare un po' dietro. È qui che vincono le soluzioni belle e pronte, soprattutto se come Google Photos, sono "gratuite".

Non tutti hanno tempo, voglia ed energie per configurarsi il proprio serverino casalingo, ma se ti vuoi divertire esistono soluzioni già pronte all'uso...o quasi.

Al momento quella con cui mi trovo meglio è @yunohost ma ne esistono anche altre. Va molto "di moda" #umbrel e molti altri.

I can read at anytime, so it kinda counts as if I did. YAY!

And fuck #calibre, that shit is unusable.

With the new Umbrel update you have the possibility to run a prune node.
So I build the most low budget thing I could and brought it to life yesterday. Let’s see if it makes it through the initial sync.
