We start out in #Sevilla, then on to #Córdoba, #Granada (yes, I live here lol), and #Toledo. I think there's another city in there somewhere.
I could probably have found an English speaking guide for myself here in #Spain . But I think the group aspect of it will be a real blessing (and a challenge) in some ways.
Anyway, that is a LOT of #Hijabis in one place!

Each time I’ve gone to the masjid this Ramadan I’ve had a good exchange with another Muslim AND I’ve learned how to deal with etiquette corrections from others.
Here in Spain, #Eid begins tonight. May Allah bless all of us and may our Ramadan fasting and prayers be accepted. Amin.

Around 4 this morning, in one of my few memorable dreams, a young man of Irish heritage was singing a chantey about going down to the sea in ships. Part of the performance included him and a companion carrying actual wooden boats!
At some point the audience, including me, joined in. As he walked by me, carrying his wooden boat, he looked me in the eye.
I should note here that #Ships are a frequently recurring theme in the #Quran.
I awakened, lying on my right side, facing the qibla. An especially resonant recitation of Surah Yusuf was playing on my phone.
This dream was a cultural and linguistic transliteration of the Quran, one that I could easily understand. I took it as an invitation. So I got up, made wu'du, and said some tarawih prayer.
May all of the #Ummah receive all of the blessings this #Ramadan, and may Allah SWT forgive us all. Amin.
