It very quickly became my favorite thing to play over the board and it seems like even after a lot of games, I'm still finding cool tactics and cool new interactions. Infinite replayability.

#DeterministicallyUndaunted[1] is the best way to play #Undaunted.

Draft format is insanely good too, but I currently only have a sketch[2], which I'll polish soon.

Playtested it today, it was great. So much better than the OG, swingy dynamics, more mobility payoffs, reasonable retreats into hidden tiles.
Can't wait to test drafts and eventually print my own units and tiles, perhaps make a #MagicTheGathering adapter?

We made just one adjustment: when you use Fog of War as initiative, exile it.

It fixes a trivial snowball when a player conceals 4 times in one turn, blinding the opponent for a long time.

Went 0-5 in #Undaunted today playing as soviets wearing the "Burning kremlin Festival" T-shirt. I think my units hated me?

Also, for the second time in the campaign, I find that friendly fire, if possible, could be a viable option for soviet side. It's not intended by game designers, but so damn immersive :D Russkie warfare.

I have played #Root #boardgame online today and #WarChest. Both using a computer vs a friend.

Both were absolutely amazing. #ImposterKings and #Undaunted really need an engine implementation and then I have no idea why would anyone play anything else. :)

But honestly, all of these games are gems of game design. Can't recommend enough.

Played two Northern Reach missions of the #Undaunted #Stalingrad campaign. I play as the bad guys, whereas my friend is playing as the worse guys.

Played scenario 1 of #Undaunted, facing off against another mass conceal strategy. The game lasted many turns and many rounds and ended with a nailbiter round where anyone could've win! Opponent almost won on turn 1 of the last round, but I managed to move Rifle squad into a building and Inspire for control.

It was an 1H+ game!

Started campaign of #Undaunted #Stalingrad.
I'm playing as the bad guys against the worse guys.

In the October battle for the city center, I failed to hold Pavlov's house[1], so the battle was pushed South.

Three rifle squads were lost, replenished with the reservists, but two of the surviving squads gained additional equipment and battle experience.
