I think my scariest roleplay was probably a great con game #UnknownArmies, because it caught me unexpectedly and strangely. I find this increasingly repulsive.
In general I find #COC really scary, it popularizes and carries on the idea worlds of an overrated and nasty racist and misanthrope.
#Paranoia and #Twilight2000 meanwhile offer a frightening reference to reality.
As expected, #Kult offers as expected scary stuff...

Eines der ersten RPGs, das ich je komplett gelesen habe, war eine geliehene Ausgabe von #KULT, die mich so beeindruckt hat, dass ich viel später eine Edelausgabe gekauft habe. Ich habe das Spiel aber mangels passendem Spielerkreis noch nie gespielt. Letzteres gilt auch für #UnknownArmies, #LotFP, oder #MorkBorg, die alle irgendwie den Ruf haben, weirde Sessions zu erzeugen.

7. I’m not sure how to characterise the “smartest” #TTRPG I’ve played.
That said, I find chargen an interesting point of comparison between games. Mechanically, I like how #UnknownArmies’ madness meters were brought front and centre in 3e, tying in much more closely to other character stats.

The 3rd edition is probably more ambitious and exciting, but this is likely the best and most accessible version that's broadly "normal.”
Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Bin gespannt!) nimmt langsam Gestalt an: Silas Balkcom, ein Monteur aus den Appalachen, der jahrelang durchs Land gezogen und nun in seine Heimatstadt zurückgekehrt ist. Irgendetwas hindert ihn daran, den Ort wieder zu verlassen. Und dann sind da Erinnerungen an seine Vergangenheit oder vielmehr Erinnerungen an Geschehnisse, die sich vielleicht ereignet hätten, WENN Silas den Ort damals nicht verlassen hätte….

My best experiences in games have been when the players have had a strong sense of the key people in a community, and built relationships with them, but I can think of few games that provide frameworks to do that in. Unknown Armies springs to mind but what others do this?
