Es ist soweit. Ich hab mir ein gebrauchtes Fairphone 2 geschossen, damit das mal umflashen kann ohne mein produktives Telefon kaputt zu machen.
Es ist ja schon fast nicht zu glauben, wie einfach es war, da gestern #lineageos und heute /e/ drauf zu machen.
Und dann war's das schon? Schon Google-frei? Ein Android 11 auf einem uralten Telefon? So einfach? Hä? Ich kanns gar nicht so richtig glauben.

Jetzt fühlt sich das das erste mal so an als hätte ich Kontrolle über ein Telefon und als wär's n richtiger Computer. Mal schauen, was da noch so geht :)

3 Tage hat es gebraucht um auf meinem #xiaomimimix2 das #lineageos zu installieren, Schwierigkeiten beim booten irgendwie überwunden, aber läuft. Ist schon besser geworden ein #customrom aufzuspielen, trotzdem immer noch erhöhter Blutdruck :0220: .
Ich habe zwar das Gefühl, der #Akku schwachelt schneller, aber ansonsten bin ich ganz glücklich!

Some e-waste statistics:

- "fastest-growing waste stream" (World Economic Forum)
- In 2016: 44.7 million tonnes generated = 4500 Eiffel towers
- By 2021: 57.4 million
- Less than 20% is collected/recycled
- 70% of landfill toxic waste is e-waste
- Production of smartphone = 80+% of CO2 emissions over a device's lifetime

When the right to repair includes software we can fight software-driven hardware obsolescence and bring these numbers down!
