#Update | Who am I fooling? I want/need coffee, but not the stuff in the kitchen. I want the coffee I pay 30¢ vs $3.00 for because I'm on the $9.99/month Sippy Cup Plan at Circle K—fresh brewed Colombian w/ half-and-half. I'm going to get that coffee, and it's been raining, and getting dark, so there will be street lights and stop lights and, well, lights reflecting off wet asphalt and pavement and that's one of my favorite things to shoot, so bullshit—I am going out, and I'm taking my camera.

It's cool this morning, a breeze and 75º. The weather's exhausted after showing out last night, making all the lil chihuahuas in the neighborhood tremble. Rain (allegedly) today and Saturday, on/off. I'll play old-timer and say, "We need it."

It's rained (thunderstormed) just twice in two weeks with daily temps in the feels-like high 90s. Where'd all that evaporated moisture go?

I love the rain. Great napping weather.

I had to decide. Nap now and be refreshed and ready for #HashtagGames at 9, or chase the sunset again and try to find pictures I haven't already taken.

I sent him a text with this picture of his GUS saying I thought our relationship was more important than whatever we might believe, politics and that, and could we please just find a way around those conversations.

Him: "I was thinking the same thing. Love you! GUS!"

This was a major contributor to my funk. I have only a few people IRL and he's one, an important one. It felt like a death when doors slammed.
