Scattered #showers and #thunderstorms, with a few possibly having gusty #winds, will pass through the #Northland from northwest to southeast through Friday night.
Saturday could see isolated showers in #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula, but most everyone will have #dry and #cool conditions. Sunday will warm up, with more showers and storms arriving by late afternoon.

Happy #Independence Day #Northland and everyone!
I wish Mother Nature would take today off from providing her own #weather #fireworks display, but that isn't looking likely.
Watching a line of #showers and #storms approach the area. If they hold together, #parades before early afternoon along and west of Highway 53 will get wet.
There is still a threat of #severe storms later today, and looking more likely on the #Wisconsin and #UpperPeninsula side.

Meanwhile, the #front that passed through may also bring a #sprinkle in spots east of Highway 13 in northwest #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula...if it reaches the ground.
Better chances for rain arrive Tuesday evening.

As snow begins to move out of the #Northland Monday night, snowfall totals have quite the range.
At the top is some spots getting 6 to 8 inches. Most locations on the #Minnesota side are seeing 3 to 6 inches, with 1 to 4 inches on the #Wisconsin and #UpperPeninsula side
This range in snowfall is a good precursor in trying to forecast what will happen later this week with a bigger storm system...

The January Thaw in the #Northland had led to a mixed bag of precipitation. Some of us are seeing rain and freezing rain, while others are seeing snow and sleet.
All precipitation will change over to snow Monday night and Tuesday morning from northwest to southeast.
Northwest #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula will see the most ice accumulation, while the #Minnesota #Arrowhead will see the most snow by Tuesday night.

So the #Northland will be split when it comes to the last late fall storm to pass through our region Tuesday.
The #Wisconsin and #UpperPeninsula side will see the highest snowfall totals and heaviest snowfall rates, so plan for a tough drive by the afternoon and overnight.
The #Minnesota side will hardly see any snow, except along the I-35, Twin Ports, and Arrowhead regions. Even there it will be a few inches at most.
