I bet they didn't discuss the use of spyware on opposition members and journalists over dinner. And bias-wise, would she share vacation days with all the others EUCO leaders or just the EPP guys? Or only those with nice and warm beaches? Or only those who invited her in their private villas?

This is a very interesting story. One key conclusion stands out: VDL's behaviour may be the result from her lack of primeministerial experience.
I was also wondering, while reading, what does 'powerful' mean when defining VDL's term so far (there's a quote from Desmond Dinan that she's the most powerful Commission president after Delors). This is quite the statement that needs further clarification
