On movie which really pushed me towards the #VisualEffects Industry has been Willow, by Ron Howard (1988).
I still remember going to the cinema with my dad to watch it.

That's why it's such a pleasure for me to rediscover these pictures today, including this photo of Georges Lucas very proud to hold a sword, or the living legend Phil Tippett and Denis Murren !

When I worked on this very high resolution Matte Painting for the movie "The Tree of Life (T. Malick 2011)", I was using a small Asus Laptop which one day completely crashed. 🆘
It appears after investigation that the graphic card had simply but surely melted... 😭
