I just fully set up #VSCodium, the #Microsoft #tracking free version of #VSCode
It works flawlessly! It is able to sign with #GPG and sign-off my commits and is full of useful utilities!

UwU - I'm using a new theme in VS Code called "Catppuccin Macchiato" (yes, I know, it sounds like a cat drinking coffee, lol) - isn't it cute!?๐ฅฐ ๐ฑ
Catppuccin is a group of pastel colored themes - you can find them here:
https://github.com/catppuccin/catppuccin
The rust-analyzer overlay hint colors are my own customization:
foreground: #643a5d
background: #41363f2f

Did you know we recently did publish a #JsonSchema to the #jsonstore!
Now your #IDE (#vscode, ...) do support linting of #WoodpeckerCI configs!

Blueprint syntax and VSCode/Codium sticky scroll makes it really easy to navigate large UI files.
And the vscode-blueprint extension of course.
@solene #Emacs. Compared to #vscode (NOT open source, like Chrome isn't), Emacs: can run in a terminal, read email, organize a task list (integrating it with email, docs, and other projects), maintain a personal #Zettelkasten/#Roam-style knowledge base (again integrating with everything you do), integrate with #GPG for encryption, etc. It is so much more than an #IDE; it is literally the world's most well-known program that can be altered at runtime.

One #programming #development tool I use regularly (not *often*, though) and donโt see many people talking about is Meld (https://meldmerge.org/). How do others 2-way/3-way diff files and directories? You stay in your favorite editor/IDE (#vscode, #pycharm, #vim)? Am I missing a fancy successor to Meld?

Here is the preview of the VSCode extension for #Type4Py, a deep similarity learning-based type inference for Python.
Joint work with @elatoskinas, @prksch, @gousiosg.
Stay tuned for the public release!

@publicvoit About to watch the video, but I think that any #vim vs #emacs conversation is obsolete these days.
It's not #vim users that we need to educate about Emacs. It's #vscode users. And "not getting" Emacs is harder there.
Not only that, but we need a faaar better out-of-box experience (#OOBE) for Emacs. Doom gets partway there, but it has tons of rough edges and disables most of the friendly configuration UI.
๐ โAdd annotations, hereso unto for known as "Biscuits", to the end of the line of closing #HTML tags. Such Biscuits could include ids and/or class names. Make <div> soup digestible!โ

Wes Bosโ Cobalt2 editor and syntax highlighting color theme has been my favorite for the last couple of years; dark, with good contrast, and still easy-on-the-eyes.
Heโs working on some improvements now, e.g. the not-so-ideal search highlight vs. current-selection situation.
Any experts in #design, #usability, #Accessibility, #a11y want to chime in?
