On the eve of the feast of St Dominic, the King’s Own band kept up the tradition as during the Saturday morning march they entered the Presidential Palace in #Valletta and played the Maltese National Anthem. Once again, I wish a happy feast to the whole Dominican community.

Citizens, activists, politicians and social media influencers all came together in #Valletta on Saturday to demand action to protect #Malta’s environment, change planning policies and increase enforcement.

Crowds marched through the capital city, singing slogans to the sound of beating drums and holding placards as part of the national protest titled ‘#Xebbajtuna’ (We’ve had enough).

We're back from our week's #cruise along the Adriatic. At gone midnight we were drinking on the balcony this photo was taken from, although this is the view just after sunrise this morning in #Valletta, #Malta where our holiday started and finished. Been a long day's travelling back, not helped by strikes in Malta's airport and French air traffic control, both of which added hefty delays. I've a lot to catch up on here, but I think an early night will happen first.

Good afternoon from #Valletta, #Malta which we flew into on a six in the morning flight after roughly two hours of sleep. Still had enough energy for a walk along the shoreline. Chilly wind on occasion, but very warm. Great fortifications. Had to stop for a beer because we're us. Currently on board that #cruise ship you can spot in the second photo, sailing this evening up the Croatian coast for the next week.

This morning we visited the Valletta Design Cluster, a new creative and cultural space dedicated to design in the capital city. It was a pleasure to see how the Old Abattoir (Il-Biċċerija l-Antika) in #Valletta was revitalised and today serves as a place for developing talent.
