At Level Up Games in Duluth, Georgia today, I played Vast Grimm with co-creators Brian Colin and Ross Brandt. Great table with fun players! It was an engaging adventure as Ross led an RP-heavy session that we all bought into. Had both creators sign the rulebook.
Got to meet Eric Alsandor in-person (wish we'd been able to play at the same table). He showed me some examples of his Mothership adventures and they look AAA in-person!

#Roll20 has an edge for #5E first party content if you want to invest heavily in that, though community/second party 5E content is great on Foundry.

@dorkland Yeah, I have been fine in the past with a few delays and issues with customs and so on but recently it's just too much. Often it seems to require much more personal effort too eg with the #VastGrimm crowdfunding (terrific game btw) - checking and re-entering orders, emailing people, and so on.

Ben/Questing Beast has a readthrough/review of the #DeathInSpace #ttrpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmTZB9nuvpY which reminds me of why I like it.

DiS got two tags before and on release which were unfair and non-productive:

1. "this is Mork Borg in space" (no it isn't - if you want that, try looking at #VastGrimm)
2. "this is like Mothership" (closer but still different, this is a survival game in a universe that's falling apart, possibly in weird ways but it's not a "horror" game IMO)

Finally got my copy of #VastGrimm in the post this afternoon - wish I'd shelled out for more dice now. I mean I do play on VTTs the whole time but who doesn't like dice? #ttrpg

@sintrenton I have _Opinions_ about the best modern game that has Traveller feels, but #VastGrimm does do the job when you want to shoot space zombies and be infected by Würms and the system is dying anyway.

I love both #DeathInSpace and #VastGrimm - one can be in different moods at different times and want different things.
