Finally played

A lovely story that has a touch of sadness that left a lasting impression. It definitely makes you want to call your Mum. Learning about Indian food was really interesting too.

My one criticism is Chapter 5 has you rapid fire making a bunch of dishes but it doesn’t tell you what you’re making.

On the flip side. The art, sound and music are all fantastic. It was a sensory rich experience that took less than 2 hours to 100%

Very much worth it on 8.5/10

Played through Canadian-developed with Nancy. Really enjoyed our time with it; wish the industry had more games like this: short, punchy, and with a lot of heart.

Calmed down a bit after finishing the main story. And making food. I am 750% sure anyone who plays this game goes off to eat right after.

Trying to grab all achievements and see all dialogue options now. The remaining achievements are secret so I can just guess at them.

Venba coming to Switch in Spring 2023, yes! Nice! I really want to play that game (cooking, story, the music is great too)
