When I see famous people in the news parading about in public indoor spaces without masks on in the pandemic, I think of Veronica Lake changing her trademark "over the eye" hairstyle during WWII to help the war effort so that women on assembly lines would stop being maimed due to obscured vision from copying her. I think about it a lot.
