@frane_vetheart Hooray! I have been using #VetEd and #VetMedEd on the bird site and wonder if we can use them here?

It was an inspiring afternoon with so many people committed to education! But what does that mean, #OpenEducation ? To start with my take-away from the day: how much do you include what you are learning about #OpenScience in your education? Do you have your students sharing code? Reporting their data #FAIR? Involved in #PublicEngagement activities? This is something I'd like to pick up more in my #VetEd!

Time for an #introduction! I'm an #academic working at the Faculty of #Veterinary Med #VetEd, Utrecht University in the Netherlands in #FarmAnimalWelfare, #AnimalBehavior and #AnimalCognition. Also working on getting students and the #Utrecht community connected with #CommunityEngagedLearning and myself with the world outside the uni through #PublicEngagement and #SciComm. Team #chicken because they are smarter (and cooler) than you think.
