Today, I hated walking just two blocks. Last year, I had a really lovely walk.

The snow record for a single day here is 65 centimetres -- that's 26 inches for the 'Muricans out there.
And that's 30% greater than Toronto's record.
As for the temperatures, sure, -5 doesn't sound cold, but there's an omnipresent ocean wind that'll cut you to your fuckin' bones. I've lived in the Yukon and Ottawa, and a cold snap here feels far colder than it sounds. #yyj
