The #VisionFive 2 was a fun #SBC to play around with for the ~$100 price tag but don't expect much out of its performance at this time. Any similarly-priced #AArch64 #singleboardcomputer is almost surely to perform much better than the VisionFive 2 until the RISC-V software ecosystem as a whole matures, more #opensource developers gaining access to RISC-V for testing and software optimizations, etc.

I've been irked by the same bullshit lately and I've been seriously thinking about building myself a #cyberdeck with a fully custom keyboard pcb. I wish there was a better choice of powerful #riscv cpus, but maybe a #VisionFive2 would be easy enough to replace eventually... (I'm the I-need-to-invent-a-programming-language-and-rebuild-the-os-from-first-principles-to-fix-this-off-by-one-pixel-bug kind of geek, obviously :-P)
