Nach einem Horror Jahr 2022 mit #sipgate Festnetz und Handy mit diversen massiven Problemen bis hin zu Totalausfällen und zuletzt Ankündigung der Preiserhöhung auch aller Bestandskunden mit Grundgebühren jenseits der ~15€/Monat für fragwürdige Qualität kann ich nur warnen:
-Die Portierung der Rufnummer dauert länger als erwartet.
-Die Guthaben Rückzahlungen dauern auffällig lange.
-Die Zwangsumstellung kommt.

I don't know how many minds I am in about the presence of this #starlink thing in the lab, but I suppose I will do setup this week and test performamce for #VoIP - latency, jitter, packet loss and such.

Voice-over-WiFi or "wifi calling" is basically and hyped-up term for #VoIP (which is also the basis of VoLTE)
VoWiFi and VoLTE both use slightly "enhanced" versions of VoIP protocols to communicate with the core network. It's just that with VoLTE, the traffic is via the IP connection on the mobile Radio Access Network (cell tower) (with some QoS assurances) where as with VoWiFI it is using your internet to reach the core network.
