As an β€œold white dude” much of this bigotry is due to the stupid way people in our demographic vote. By that I mean even against our own self interests.
I look at people that look like me with contempt in the Fredericksburg Va area because statistically they are probably MAGA. Perhaps not in City proper but certainly surrounding counties.

Ageism is one form of bigotry that never seems to get old

I voted. Remembering people who have to rush in before work, on lunch break, or hoping to get in on time after work, I always try to make sure I am not crowding those times for people who are pressured. I went at 9:45. It was so busy that I took the last parking space. Walkers were coming from all directions.

Here are the names of 4 Democrats running for Attorney General.

Rochelle Garza, a civil rights attorney. She has worked in both immigration and family law.

Mike Fields, a former employee at the attorney general's office and a retired judge.

Joe Jaworski, the former mayor of Galveston and third-generation Texas lawyer.

Lee Merritt, a civil rights attorney.

They're all more qualified than Ken Paxton and not abusing their positions and Texans. Vote early for one in the primary elections, which are going on now (if you're registered and haven't voted.) You have until February 25th to vote early. The primary itself is on March 1st.
