Well it was a council official that tried to turn me away from having my lack of photo ID noted. They really don't want this to look like the voter suppression that it is #election #VoterIDs

I really dislike the voter ID thing. Nit because I have a problem in general but because
A) It "fixes" a none existing problem and
B) Because it feels like American politics seeping into UK politics. That we now have voter ID laws because Trump tried stealing the election.

Regarding voter ID. If you don't have a driver's licence, passport, railcard etc. your local council is obliged to provide a registered voter with some form of ID. #VoterIDs #IDCards
