Feeling a little strange today. Still rather exhausted by yesterday’s 14-hour #VoterProtection effort, uplifted by how well the Dems did nationally, and dismayed by the outcome in Florida. It’s tough being a progressive in a regressively red state.

I am not going to watch the returns come in. Because I need a good night of sleep after a 14 hour day supporting #VoterProtection. Me watching returns won’t change a thing except further exhaust me or dampen my mood.

So today's THE DAY. I'll be working in my county's "boiler room" providing help desk-style support to poll-watchers as part of the #VoterProtection effort here in Orange County, #Florida. Helping voters #vote in this very important #Election.

I am both anxious and excited about tomorrow. Anxious because obviously, and excited because it's #GoTime for the #VoterProtection work that I do. #ElectionDay is the Super Bowl of Voter Protection, and I'm grateful to be able to serve in this way, with a terrific team of people in Orange County, #Florida.
