Prolixity: excessively verbose writing.
I know I've been guilty of prolixity myself during the development of APCA, in large part because human vision is a complicated and nuanced subject.
Nevertheless I've worked hard and involved some AI tools to create a simple and easy to read introduction to visual contrast:

A recent journal-published peer-review of APCA:
"...15 years since the adoption of WCAG 2.0...enhanced color models adapted to human perception, have been developed...APCA shows more accurate results for measuring color contrast..."

@djangonaut the lighter blue might be compliant to #WCAG 2 but you might be surprised at the results for upcoming #WCAG3 aka #APCA : it requires a minimum font size of 107px !

Als Deutscher hätte mir ‚W3C AG‘ wirklich gut gefallen. Warum fragt mich nie einer.
Is there a good tool to check color contrast according to the Accessible Perceptual Contrast Algorithm (APCA) on a Mac? It's so cumbersome to visit a website and paste the colors by hand. Something like usecontrast.com would be so nice. #a11y #accessibility #wcag3

I wrote some internal articles on #WCAG3 and have condensed some key points into a public blog post: "WCAG 3.0: Are We There Yet?"
