Just saw the banner on my #Google #tv that #HarleyQuinn season 4 just dropped.

I thought about that possibility before canceling* #HBO's #Max but hoped it wouldn't be back until after the #WGA and #SAGAFTRA strikes were both over.

Long time ago I wrote a sci-fi stage play about Hollywood dev execs who created a machine that could create great screenplays if they fed it other writing and the corpses of actual screenwriters.

Hadn’t thought about it in decades, for some reason popped into my head recently.

And I’ll note that the #media is where it is due to deliberate choices—this deterioration didn’t just happen. #Journalism has been broken down in order to save a few bucks, while the decision-makers seem to fundamentally misunderstand what journalists actually do. Seems to be a through line with the proposals of using #AI in screenwriting and what the #WGA is fighting against.

Really want to support the #WGA and #SAGAFTRA strikes, but I don't pay for any streaming services and I don't feel particularly excited about giving my money to #Netflix, #Hulu, #Disney plus, etc. So not sure in what way I can support the strike.
