The fun of #MCFC against #WHUFC tonight and I fancy a #PremierLeague shock at the #etihad. Though I would like to see #Haaland set a new top flight record for goals in a season #MastodonFC

Lots of #Wrexham chatter, and I mentioned my eldest used to play with Elliot Lee. In their first #WHUFC season together (2003/04), Elliot scored 58 goals (mostly assisted by my son!), but he also assisted loads for Keanu Hill who also scored 58 goals. Keanu is now doing 10 years inside for armed robbery. One kid was ushered through the academy ranks and one was released after a few years with no support. You can guess which.

Also read this book as it gives a great insight into the #english #PremierLeague #academy system. It also references Kieran Bywater’s treatment at #WHUFC and he was another of my son’s teammates (ignore the other #books in the shot 😂)

To add to the earlier messages about #WHUFC #PremierLeague #football #soccer #academy - former West Ham manager, Glenn Roeder, had a son Joe in the same team, and we all became friends when Glenn got his tumour as I could take Joe to training etc. The coach bullied my son and offered me out for a fight in front of all the other parents because I was friends with ‘tumour boy.’ That’s how disgusting things get behind the scenes, and our experience sadly isn’t uncommon.

Re last boosted toot. My eldest was released by #WHUFC but only because we complained to the #PremierLeague about the bullying he received at the hands of his coach. A coach who was sacked by #Arsenal for bullying and who went on to scam hundreds of African families out of their life savings with ex referee Jeff Winter.

@Eastenderinwales I meant #Barça as opposed to #Bayern but then I am a little biased, having worked for the former and supporting them. Family were always #whufc supporters but that’s a long story for another time!

Was a joy watching #Wrexham go up yesterday and to see my eldest son’s old #whufc team-mate, Elliot Lee, grab another goal. How much more of this story is there to tell, because the owners genuinely appear to be in it for the long haul. Definitely going places #MastodonFC

Few thoughts on last nights #MastodonFC action. #mufc’s de Gea and #Maguire are an absolute liability, but then I’m not telling you anything you didn’t know already. #whufc - should really make the #europaconferenceleague final now. Super performance again in Europe, completely at odds with their #PremierLeague form.

#sun is shining and head is buried in a #book before more #MastodonFC work later with #mufc and #whufc to cover tonight. Life is good.
