This year, it's feeling a lot harder to write my Christmas Eve sermon. I think there are a lot of reasons for it, but the biggest thing is that I'm not sure what to say that I haven't already said.

So what are all of our new denominational hashtags? Are we still using the ones from the birdsite? I've seen #WCT, are we staying with that are does it get changed to #WCM? Are are we having the "T" from birdsite just mean "toots"? (Weird Christian Toots?)

Weird Christian Twitter imploded, but Weird Methodist Twitter had a committee and a discord, and largely missed the implosion. It was the most methodist thing I've ever seen. They're still going as far as I can tell, onwards to Holiness as inevitably as the universe marches on to entropy and the clocks wind down.

I'm only #WMT adjacent, but I'm going to miss them.

I was an early adopter of the bird app and trying out a new social media app feels a bit like that did in 2008.
