Found an episode of #Columbo on (on a Sunday, this isn't difficult), and it was one of my most well-remembered episodes. Psychics, magicians, and #murder by #guillotine, and most memorable for how the #psychic demonstration is shown to be the scam they all are. As a dedicated #sceptic this has always stuck in my mind. It's been fun seeing if my wife could work out the trick before it was explained, and I'm happy to say she has.

I think I saw a UFO yesterday. I was bloody driving so couldn’t pay it the attention it deserves. It actually looked like a comet with two tails. It was either a fucking huge plane with a contrail that didn’t move, lengthn or dissipate, or it was a massive V shaped UFO. Need to think on this a bit. 🤔 A passenger plane passed over while I watched which gave me a rough estimate of size/distance. I’ll post later when I can ponder a bit.

I saw a Glimmer/Predator Entity, but not in the woods - indoors at my then boyfriend’s flat.

It was a hot, humid and uncomfortable summer night. There were six of us watching TV in the first floor lounge. I sat by the door which was opposite and across the room from the one sash window. We were all too hot but there was no fan, air con, nor breeze through the window.

The door was on my left and closed.

Confused, he watched as they individually came back on, one after the other, up the street. The only thing that could have triggered them was light, so the light that had woken him had not only been as bright/brighter than day, but had caused the entire street’s lights to switch off.

He still lives in the same house, near the top of a steep hill. His bedroom is on the 1st floor. The street is wider than average with great visibility. You can see the city centre from there.

My dad’s #woo #paranormal experience (one of many he now refuses to talk about).

He was woken in the early hours by a blinding bright light shining through the window. Thinking it was burglars he leapt out of bed and threw the curtains aside. Nothing. It was pitch black outside, which was unusual in itself. The streetlamps are light-sensitive so automatically switch off when light levels are high enough.
