1/ THINKING ABOUT all things bond mkt after catching up on morning reading☕️. 15yrs of my #WallSt career was helping pension plans/life insurers fix their past mistakes (most of which made them inherently short vol). Fundamental probs w/ bond mkt structure exacerbated this prob.

Yep but physically backed ETFs also foster spot price manipulation. As I've said for yrs, #bitcoin ETF approval is double-edged sword--it brings liquidity👍but also brings #WallSt-style manipulation/price suppression👎 (not that #BTC trading mkts don't already have lots of that).

We love #SteveKeen's ideas.

His work alongside #KevinRudd, to fight the #GFC in #Australia by giving some cash to everyone to spend how they need was a far cry from the #bailOutTheBanks idea out of the #US.

To be fair, since #repoCrisis last year every #literate pundit and his dog was waiting for this. Even before then people knew #wallSt were dependant on #greaterFools to support the #ponziScheme and #debtBubble. With close to #NegativeInterestRates etc.

Agree. The Grassroots have been hampered.

And agree that #capitalism changes in reaction to the grassroots.

We find that the past effective control over #currency by #centralised authorities and their ability to #printMoney for their cronies, has also undermined #grassroots efforts and distorted/drained the #labour pool.

We believe this is changing with the advent of #cryptocurrencies - and they are scared ;)
