No #parkrun for me this week as I was supporting the start of a new #PolesApart #NordicWalking class being run at #BeddingtonPark. 'Twas nice to have a 9:45 start as well, so a bit more of a #Saturday lie in #today. Plan is to alternate Saturdays between parkrun and Nordic Walking.
On a different note, it was nice to get a #ULEZ warning before I set off 🚙

Municipal guide cover of the day: The Borough of #Beddington & #Wallington, 1962.

This Surrey Borough, whose territory was subsumed into Greater London in 1965 and moved under the (then) new London Borough of #Sutton, celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1962.

The coat of arms features an aircraft reflecting the fact that most of the airfield of Croydon Airport was within the Borough (and not Croydon). It survives in the coat of arms of the present day London Borough of Sutton.
