But no, instead, high budget gaming fucking went to town on the idea that the game *quality* wasn't what was being rated but rather the *budget* of the game. Which is why you have complete crap like #Warcraft getting AAA and gems like Elite getting a B+. Like, biiiitch, Warcraft in it's prime wasn't that great, just groundbreaking and #Elite's a 39 year old game franchise that's __still__ experimenting even when it's pulling down "composer and orchestra" money... #Gaming
