Fuuuck this merger. BUT, I dont think #CartoonNetworkStudios is --dead--. But we might, MIGHT, be looking at a shadow of its former self. In a few years.

But even then, we still have a chance for it to be doing ~some~ of what it does now. We have to believe in the people inside (that are left) to keep the spirit of the studio alive.

Stock in #WarnerDiscovery is falling by at least 50%. WBD investors are losing money. And the investors are suing WBD. They claim that the company & streamer (before merger) was being mishandled. And that Warner inflated subscriber numbers before the merge.

Some good-ish news. The #LooneyTunes musical #ByeByeBunny, thought to be canceled by #WarnerDiscovery, isss.. not-canceled.. exactly. Alot of staff was let go, and good luck to their job future. There is speculation that #WarnerDiscovery is cutting shows from both streamers to save money on paying residuals as well as tax write-offs. If they tax-writeoff, they cannot make money on it at all.

I cant say how FURIOUS & sad I am about the #HBOMaxRemovals. Part of it is I might not get to finish #SummerCampIsland, and I LOVE #ElliottFromEarth. But another thing all this work will be gone and unwatchable. People put heart-blood, sweat, & tears into these works. And as of Thurs night, so many will be a memory because #WarnerDiscovery "doesnt believe in it" or whatever.
