Two anonymous 17th Century ballads describing the purported evil deeds of Richard III, the murder of the Princes in the Tower, and the Battle of Bosworth Field, which was fought in 1485.
A good example of Tudor propaganda.

A song of the Life and Death of King Richard the Third (to the tune of Who list to lead a soldier's life)
and
The most cruel murther of Edward the fifth, and his brother Duke of York, in the Tower; by their Uncle Richard Duke of Gloucester (to the tune of Fortune my foe)
From Richard Johnson's ballad miscellany, The Golden Garland of Princely Delights, 1620

Richard de Winter:

Alison KInder: bass

@Jennifer_Pinkley @leighms @ChrisMayLA6 Sorry but I don’t agree. Charles is taking “donations “ & keeping offshore accounts. a billionaire at birth why is he using tax £ to pay for his everything? Which kings have you gotten rid of as required? It’s usually somebody who wants to be the next king who gets rid of them. Yet it’s average Britons who fought their endless wars. ?

Absolutely! We were so lucky that one copy of survived. Have you read @mattlewisauthor ‘s The Survival of The Princes in the Tower? Great book, thought provoking.
If they were killed at all, (Matt Lewis as before) Henry certainly had a motive. After all, he had married the eldest child of Edward IV, even though a daughter, not a son.
We’ll convince the world one day!

1496 d. Jasper Tudor, Earl of Pembroke & Duke of Bedford died. Jasper can probably take the lion’s share of the credit for his nephew, Henry VII's ultimate triumph in the Wars of the Roses. Second son of Catherine de Valois and Owain Tudor, Jasper had been favoured by his half-brother, Henry VI, and was unfailingly loyal to the House of Lancaster. bit.ly/259dT0g
