That's always the biggest obstacle to #WatchParties, isn't it?

My US schedule, it would probably work better for a week day German evening than a US one, but I could still do one. I could also host a European #WatchParties.

@Goretta_Synn @TheRealElvira That would be cool. I guess their platform better serves live-streaming, and any previously recorded stuff can go on your YouTube channel as well.

I'm very excited by the prospect of this. I love #WatchParties. I'm sure the #horrorfam and #mutantfam here would be interested!

@inameitlater also a fan of #hannibal. Trying to compile a list of #fannibals. Anyone who might be interested in forming a community that might have #WatchParties. Post here and follow and we can make a list of Hannibal fans.

I don’t know why you can’t make a list to show you the feeds of others with similar interests without them following you, because you can already add them to your feed.

@horrorlex we just watched this last night as part of a triple feature @Apocryphiliac DC #WatchParties . It was a blast!

@dbclev This was my first live #TheLastDriveIn and I had so much fun. It did feel like we were committing a Purge. But it was great as far as #WatchParties go.

Everyone is watching something different, many of the movies are on paid streaming platforms (hope you are getting ad revenue for advertising for them freely), and many of them are using the same hashtags of #MutantFam and #TheLastDriveIn

So frustrating I just won't bother. I can just watch stuff by myself, like always.

Since there has been a huge burst of new activity out there, and everyone has been doing #introductions I guess I should (re)do a hashtag-laden #introduction of my own.

I am a mid-century modern weirdo from #YYC aka #Calgary #Alberta #Canada that runs https://coales.co Hometown/Mastodon site out of the garage in his back yard (the servers are literally bolted to the ceiling in there...told you I was weird)

Like a lot of people here I am a computer nerd who codes a lot of #Python and tinker with #microcontrollers and #OpenHardware and uses #Linux mostly. Professionally I do #IndustrialAutomation #SCADA stuff.

That said I often (sometimes mostly) post random and sometimes weird stuff. Occasionally political but put it behind content warnings. I am generally #AntiAuthoritarian and I dunno maybe #mutualist if I had to label it.

Also like weird #WatchParties like #Monsterdon and #WeAreNameless, and cute fuzzy animals (not like THAT jeez) and #ShitPosting and I'm occasionally a necromancer of old #Memes
