Being on rainwater only, we collect the water that runs from the kitchen tap before it heats up enough to wash the dishes. We use a small watering can for this, and that water goes exclusively to this 'Potimarron' pumpkin vine. It seems happy with the scheme. #FairyBootFarm #WaterWise

I’ve begun to re-read a useful gardening book: Water-Wise Vegetables by Steve Solomon. For those of us who want to grow food and face increasingly dry conditions, this is super useful information.
