True Correction
For a lot of people the word correct can have a negative connotation. Many have been corrected in the wrong way, therefore, associating correction with punishment, being yelled at, belittled or embarrassed.
But what is biblical correction?
Correction has everything to do with teaching and should always involve not just telling a person where they are amiss in their way of thinking and living, but teaching them through the Word of God in order to change their way of thinking and bring about a change in life.
Proverbs 3:11 “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor detest His correction;”
Proverbs 3:12 “For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.”

The Spirit of Elijah
Elijah was a prophet who confronted the king, preached repentance, and performed many miracles during his time on earth. In the Book of Malachi it is prophesied God would send the Spirit of Elijah before the coming of the Lord (ref Mal 4:5-6).
On the Mt of Transfiguration, Jesus said that Elijah came but they didn’t know him - speaking of John the Baptist. However, Jesus stated Elijah will come and restore all things, and since John the Baptist was already dead at this time, Jesus had to be speaking of a future coming of John the Baptist (Mat 17:10-13).
This shows us that the prophecy in Malachi has not yet been fully fulfilled. So then, who is this Elijah that is coming to restore all things?

Did you know that there were two veils in the Temple? In Christianity it is common to hear that the veil was torn.
When the Lord gave Moses the instructions to build the Tabernacle, there were two veils, the first veil was from the outer court going into the Holy Place (Num 4:25-26). The other veil was before the altar of incense, and guarding the Holy of Holies, which Paul referred to as the second veil (Exo 26:33, Heb 9:3).
The way into the second veil requires access from a High Priest - the Apostles in the New Testament Church (Lev 21:10-12). Only they were and are allowed behind the veil into the Glory of God. This means Apostles are not done away with, but instead, they are the very thing needed in order for us to access the Glory of God (Amo 3:7, Rev 10:7).
