At last night's City of West Hollywood Congress of Boards and Commissions I had a wonderful discussion with a new member of the Women's Advisory Board who has decades of history in the feminist movement. So many wonderful and amazing people are serving #WeHo.

Protected bike lanes will go ahead on Santa Monica Blvd. west of Kings. There just isn't space east of Kings for protected lanes, but Staff has been directed by Council to study implementing regular bike lanes there.

On Fountain Ave, a road diet with bike lanes and widened sidewalks is planned. A pilot of the changes will be implemented soon. 80% of the sidewalks on Fountain are not currently ADA compliant so the city is required to upgrade them. #WeHo

At last night's City of West Hollywood Transportation Commission meeting, we received updates on planned bicycle lane upgrades on Santa Monica Blvd. and upcoming bike lanes and sidewalk improvements on Fountain Ave. Fountain Avenue is a residential corridor and a safer Fountain is coming. #WeHo #LosAngeles #Cycling

AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) Health announces that it has begun construction on its newest health center to be located in the City of West Hollywood. The Michael S. Gottlieb Health Center, West Hollywood will provide LGBTQ+ primary care services, HIV specialty care, comprehensive sexual health services, and behavioral health services. With ten exam rooms, this will be APLA Health’s largest health center to date.
