Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website, has suspended roughly 1,120 accounts that criticized the government’s Covid policies.

Weibo said the following regarding the bans: "It is not acceptable to hurl insults at people who hold a different point of view, or publish personal attacks and views that incite conflicts.”

Weibo has previously bowed down to CCP censorship by blocking terms relating to the Tiananmen Square massacre, such as “June 4.”
