Just learned my 2023 #healthcare benefits still do not cover many medically necessary, life- and disability-saving #gender affirming procedures and services for #transgender people with written exclusions.

For those not familiar, my medical gender #transition has been on hold since 2021 due to lack of affirming #healthcare benefits #WeillCornellMedicine, and this has not been changed even with the help of an amazing lawyer. This, in #NYC, the home of #queer #liberation, and in the year 2023.
