Today's random #Discogs choice Wendy & Lisa and Fruit At The Bottom 1989. This album gives me happy vibes. I remember we saw them at the T&C Club in Kentish Town when this came out. It was a fab gig. Sang ours selves hoarse, and jumped around down the front.

@PrinceHits That is difficult. Madhouse and The Time are mostly #Prince with a different hat on, so I have to choose Wendy & Lisa. The only who were able keep Prince far away from their recording sessions. 😉 And the most talented.

Still remembering from a 1989 live concert in Groningen when Wendy hold my hand (quite some time) during the ballad song Stay. I know it's part of the show, but as you can read I've never forgot.

SEAL: DELUXE EDITION (a thread)

I was looking forward to the extras in the SEAL (1991 debut) deluxe edition, but did not expect much from a remaster of the actual album.

My experience is that most albums recorded digitally after 1990 wouldn't be improved much by remastering.

Boy, was I wrong in this case. (cont'd)

This is again a song with musical influences, but don't let that scare you! This is absolutely a masterpiece!

Recorded with Wendy & Lisa on vocals in 1985, this was first an outtake of *Parade*, before it was added to the Prince & The Revolution album *Dream Factory* a year later. But because Prince disbanded the Revolution in September 1986, that album wasn't released (see http://www.princevault.com/index.php?title=Album:_Dream_Factory) and only 8 of the 18 songs were released on *Sign "☮" the Times*. All My Dreams, despite a masterpiece, was put back in the vault.
