Das Klimaticket in #Österreich ist etwas teurer - aber es gilt flächendeckend auf allen Zügen - nicht nur Bundes- und Landesbahnen sondern auch bei #Westbahn und #Regiojet
Ausgenommen davon ist Flixbus (Flixtrain gibte es hier nicht)

However - the #Austrian "#Westbahn" who joined the #Klimaticket-supporter has registered a good use of their trains by Klimaticket-user - if the same thing would happen to Flixbus? i dont think so - the model is to different - trains on the route from Vienna to Salzburg (and additional to Munich and Innsbruck) are frequently used by travellers of both - Westbahn and #ÖBB

Apaprently if you are registered in the #westbahn website and inserted your klimaticket, the APP from the train personnel might ask them to check the picture on your card - if it matches with the passenger's face. Per se nothing new, but it made me wonder for some minutes on the layers of coercion embedded in such technical system, which are also wonderfully taking away the personal accountability of the train personnel..."the system asks me to check it!"

If you buy a #DeutscheBahn #EC #train ticket from #Munich/ #Rosenheim to #Austria, with (#Railjet) correspondence in #Salzburg, make sure to check https://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/ in time for delays on the German (#DB) side. Direct regional trains from Munich to Salzburg via Rosenheim may save your correspondence when the first leg is delayed. Note that with #DeutscheBahn tickets you're not entitled to use #Westbahn trains, not even in case of major delays.
