I would like to see something done about children being forcibly indoctrinated, in violation of their Freedom of Religion. It shouldn't be automatic that a parents right to raise their children in their religion outweighs a child's right to find their own religious beliefs of disbeliefs.
I am also considering starting my own religion. It's a return to worshipping the Sun, but nothing supernatural.

When bigots weaponize the "what about the children" narrative and then clueless normies fall for it and are like "haven't you heard? the children! I guess... or something, I wasn't paying attention. but Bigot McDishonest said it and then Dr Stuckup Von Trashbag proved it with unsourced statistics"...
Listen, I know I said that I would not talk about the International Publishers Congress.
But Publishers Weekly's only article on the actual program is this one.
And they're pulling up a #WhatAboutTheChildren to expand publisher's control over education?
As I wrote two weeks ago, one of the panelist of 'The Value of EdTech' - that PW is talking about without mentioning it - was Lis Tribe.
She is a Council Member of UK Publishers Association, which has called for the shut-down of Oak National Academy, a UK online classroom!
Also, in recent news, Wiley had withdrawn free access to 1300 e-books for students, then faced so much public backlash, that they postponed the withdrawal to June 2023.
The event was so significant that it became part of the Internet Archive's briefs conclusion in its lawsuit against Publishers, but apparently not enough for it to be mentioned in PW's article.
Several organizations are now pushing to get the e-books permanently reinstated.
I just thought you might want to know it. "Embraces" might seem to have positive meaning here, it doesn't.
