On a farm just outside of Ludlow in Shropshire, they have 2 fields of white poppies.
A wonderful sight, the white contrasting with the green of the surrounding hills and the dark clouds above.

The Red Poppy only remembers the British dead of war, not the Colonial and Dominion troops who fought along side the British Forces. It does not remember the dead of those Britain fought. Nor does it remember the civilian victims of war. This is why I wear a white poppy.
