When I flow into that first scene with/as a character and their entire book reveals itself in my head. My best process is first chapter-blurb-synopsis-the rest of the book
Sometimes blurb comes first because of contracts or suggestions from editor or agent, but I like it best when I can flow into it from a character’s deep POV. #WillaReece #WildwoodWhispers #WildwoodMagic

Music is a very important part of my process. For world building and getting in touch with characters and what makes them tick. A lot of times I don’t slip fully into deep POV until I find THE song for that character. And every manuscript usually has a theme song✨

I live at the edge of several hundred wild acres close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I hike with my dogs every day.
